AS2002 was developed to fully bring out the capabilities of recent "earphones that require output," such as large-diameter dynamic drivers and earphones equipped with multiple drivers of various types.

The DAC uses the AK4493S, which has ultra-low distortion and low power consumption, and supports a wide range of sampling rates, including PCM up to 768kHz/32bit and DSD DSD512 native playback.
The essential sound quality is achieved by leveraging the acoustic tuning technology that Acoustune has cultivated over many years to achieve fidelity to the original sound, delicate expressiveness, and powerful, natural, and transparent sound output.

product design is inspired by an LED indicator heat sink, and the design is simple and minimal. Excellent heat dissipation through the aluminum body reduces the impact on sound quality, while providing a compact and easily portable Hi-Fi environment.

The LED indicator in the front slit is designed to create a ``light leak'' effect by appropriately controlling the amount of light, and is designed to be easy to see without being too dazzling.

Through sound tuning that takes advantage of its ultra-low distortion characteristics, we have achieved a natural and smooth sound reminiscent of an analog amplifier despite its ultra-high resolution. The best sound quality and functionality are packed into a compact housing.

AS2002 is compatible with both 3.5mm 3-pole unbalanced and 4.4mm 5-pole balanced connections.

Unique sound tuning optimized for circuit design that delivers excellent audio performance minimizes the difference in sound quality between unbalanced and balanced connections.
